NHS FRONT LINE STAFF WIN YOUR WEDDING TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

The Terms and Conditions set out in the following document relating to the competition being run and advertised by the below wedding suppliers, referred to as ‘The Wedding Collective” who are acting together for the purpose of this giveaway form a Vendors and Suppliers group.

There is NO CASH ALTERNATIVE to the prize offered and all individual suppliers may have their own T&Cs in place that will need to be agreed to. The value of the wedding, in this case, will be valued at £1.00 (One Great British Pound)

Any part of the prize gift not accepted or already paid for elsewhere will not be replaced – there are no alternatives to what has been expressly offered unless you come to other agreements with the individual vendors.

PRIZE: An NHS (NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE) WORKER, EMPLOYED BY THE NHS ON A PERMANENT BASIS and their partner will win their wedding day*.

These suppliers details may be changed and or amended as the months go as we are still securing other suppliers/vendors to add this awesome list –

 

Conditions of Entry

  1. Both parties must be over the age of 18 and at least one person of the couple must have been in permanent continuous employment by the NHS, for at least a six-month period prior to the wedding.
  2. The NHS employee will be expected to provide proof of employment by means of photographic evidence.
  3. The majority of the suppliers involved are based in LONDON and therefore any meetings, trials, fittings will take place in London. It is the winning couple’s responsibility to arrange travel and travel costs to the supplier’s location.
  4. The couple and their wedding guests must be willing to travel to the wedding location for the wedding which will take place at a venue in or around London as possible.
  5. The wedding will take place on a date to be confirmed once we identify a wedding venue in early 2021 after the Global pandemic and we are allowed to legally gather for parties.
  6. All suppliers have confirmed availability for the wedding.
  7. The wedding date will be discussed and confirmed with the winning couple.
  8. The prize is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative from any of the Vendors /Suppliers.
  9. If additional requests are required by the couple, then these should be discussed with the relevant supplier directly at the time of the request and any additional cost associated with the request will be agreed directly between the couple and the Additional costs will be the sole responsibility of the couple and payment due direct to the supplier.
  10. All professional images and videos are to be taken by the allocated photographer and videographer along with any images taken by any of the Wedding Collective Team and may be used by all suppliers for advertising purposes across social media and individual websites/promotional material. By entering the competition, you consent to these images being used and will always be in the best taste possible. We will only use these promotional materials in the best way and in good faith. The vendors will seek advice from Designer Wedding Planner prior to any usage.
  11.  The winners will be asked to sign an independent form consenting to the use of these images by the suppliers for the purposes of advertising their services. This consent may be withdrawn at any time in writing to the organiser.
  12. The wedding will be published in as many publications as we can get and after the wedding, the couple may be approached to give their insight into their wedding and how they found the day and their gift. It will also be submitted to national wedding blog/magazines to be published.
  13. The cost of registrar notice of marriage and wedding insurance is not included in the prize and must be arranged and funded by the winning couple.
  14. Any service not included by the Wedding Collective will be provided at the winner’s expense and must be reviewed by The Wedding Collective before being agreed to, in order to prevent conflicts of interests.
  15. The closing date of the competition is midnight on Sunday 05/07/2020 at 23:59hrs. We may extend the closing date at our discretion to allow for the late start of the competition.
  16. After all entries are received, a shortlist will be selected by the suppliers based on their A winner will then be selected at random from the shortlisted entries using www.random.org
  17. Due to the current isolation rules imposed by the government, The Wedding Collective is unable to specify the date that the shortlist will be created, and the subsequent winner is drawn; however, it will be done as soon as practical once the restrictions have been All updates regarding this will be communicated on the website www.designerweddingplanner.com and across social media and on our partners’ social media.
  18. The winning couple will be contacted via telephone and email, which is why we ask for this on your application. The winning couple may also be announced on social media; however, privacy is paramount and therefore your full names/contact details will not be published.
  19. If the winning couple does not wish to accept the prize, they must inform the Wedding Collective within 72 hours of being made aware of their win, this must be done in writing, via email to [email protected] This is to enable the suppliers to randomly select a new couple.
  20. If the winning couple decides to decline the prize within the 72 hours, they, therefore, forfeit any rights to any part of the prize and cannot change their mind at a later date.
  21. All of the suppliers involved have invested their time into this competition, all of the suppliers named must, therefore, be used as individually described below and not be disregarded based on the individual taste of the winning couple.
  22. It is suggested that all those entering the competition will follow all of the Wedding Collective on social media platforms.
  23. The competition is in no way affiliated to any social media platforms, although advertised on Facebook and other social media platforms.

 

VENUE –

  1. The wedding will take place at (A venue to be determined unless you have a wedding venue already)
  2. The winning couple will receive exclusive use of the venue for their wedding ceremony and this includes the use of tables and chairs for the wedding breakfast. Additional furniture may need to be supplied.
  3. You will be required to provide a drinks package that meets your needs. Please note that drinks are not included in the prize fund and must be paid for independently by the winning couple.
  4. A food tasting meeting with the couple may take place once the wedding date has been determined, and the caterer has been identified – following their standard practice.
  5. Safety must be taken at all times by the couple and their guests.
  6. The venue may provide a fully stocked bar in the evening; Please note this is not included within the prize, (and will need to be funded directly by the winning couple or as a paying bar by their guests.
  7. All damages must be paid for and the couple are responsible for notifying a member of staff of any breakages or damage
  8. The winning couple must ensure they source and fund their own wedding insurance and evidence of a policy in place will be required at the time of booking and a copy shared with the wedding planner.

WEDDING PLANNER – Designer Wedding Planner

  1. The winning couple will receive a full On the Day Coordination service from Designer Wedding Planner
  2. This service includes 12 hours on-site coordination as well as 4 planning meetings no less than 16 weeks before the This will be to finalise all details and hand over all supplier communication.
  3. The final meeting will be required in order to carry out the coordination of the wedding and may be subject to additional cost of travel to/from the venue at a rate to be determined by the wedding planner.
  4. Any additional meetings outside of these described can be organised but will be subject to a charge of £100 per visit.
  5. The full cost of the prize is as an estimate and there is no cash alternative to this prize. It will be valued at £1.00 (ONE GB POUND). This is final.
  6. All the suppliers and professionals will be giving their time, expertise, items, clothes, etc. as a gift to show appreciation for the hard work the front-line staff have given during the global pandemic and expressly so in the UK. London. It is our way of giving something back.

 

PHOTOGRAPHER – Dazzitto Photography

  1. The winning couple will receive a full day coverage (10 Hours) of their wedding by a single photographer by Dazzitto Photography
  2. The couple will also be gifted a 2-hour pre-wedding shoot in London with the wedding photographer
  3. Minimum of 400 images will be taken.
  4. Web gallery which is password protected to view the images.
  5. After the wedding, the couple will receive edited images which will include a USB stick of all their selected images.
  6. If any photobooks/albums are desired, these may be requested from Dazzitto Photography, however, will be subject to additional cost – A leather wedding album 8X8 with 80 – 90 images from the wedding will be hugely discounted at a cost of £250 (50% saving)
  7. A second photographer may be added, but full payment of £250.00 will be invoiced to the couple.
  8. Dazzitto photography retains the copyright of all images and will share these with the other members of The Wedding Collective for their own use, promotional material (all social media and websites) and a keepsake of the wedding.

 

VIDEOGRAPHER –

  1. The winning couple will receive a full day coverage of their wedding by a single videographer from Video.
  2. After the wedding, they will be provided with a highlight style film set to carefully selected licenced music, usually between 10-15 minutes covering their wedding day.
  3. There is the option on request of including full-length coverage of the wedding service and speeches (A charge may apply). These will be provided in addition to the highlight film.
  1. To achieve greater coverage a second videographer can be requested subject to additional charges
  1. The finished film(s) will be delivered in an ornate keepsake box on USB – Further copies will be available on request. (charges will apply)

 

FLORAL DESIGN & VENUE STYLING –

  1. The winning couple will receive the full design, creation, and set-up of flowers and venue styling free of charge, however, this is based on time value only, which includes the ordering, conditioning and preparation of the flowers prior the wedding, the full design service and set up on the day of the wedding and the takedown of all the event decor the following the wedding.
  2. The total retail cost of the flowers that will be used within the designs must be paid for by the winning couple – if they wish to use fresh flowers.
  3. The design process will be completely bespoke and individual to the winning couple; therefore, they will receive an initial consultation whereby the style and variety of flowers and colours will be chosen to create a beautiful setting.
  4. It may be desired that a large installation will be included in the design, such as an arch/backdrop.
  5. The Decor Styling company will agree on a budget of what the winning couple is willing to spend on the fresh flowers, the monies will be paid to 6 weeks prior to the wedding so that the flowers can be ordered and Receipt of the flowers purchased may be requested for the winning couple’s records. This is to cover the cost of the flowers only. The Décor company will not profit in any way from this requirement, it’s, therefore, to ensure a physical financial loss isn’t incurred.
  6. Options available to the couple will be but are not limited to: A hand-tied Bridal bouquet, hand-tied bridesmaid’s bouquets (up to 5 included) buttonholes/corsages, top table and registrars table (if required), and guest table centrepieces (up to 6).
  7. The value of a large installation bespoke design and all the additional flowers would averagely cost upwards of £1,500.00, however, the winning couple will receive this at the cost of the flowers.
  8. Any additional items such as arch structures, vases, pedestals, urns, stands, candles, will be supplied by the Décor company on hire; usual T&Cs associated to the Décor company would apply with regards to breakage costs.

 

CATERING –  

The winning couple will be required to meet the cost of the catering and all meals for the wedding.

 

BRIDE’S WEDDING SHOES – Freya Rose London 

The Bride will be gifted her wedding shoes – she can choose up to the value of £250. If she chooses to opt for a more expensive pair, she will have to make up the shortfall and pay the shoe designer any additional costs.

 

HAIR STYLIST – Bridal hair by Chatel Noire Hair

  1. The Bride will receive a mini-trial prior to the wedding, and free consultation prior to the wedding along with the chosen hairstyle service on the day of the wedding, this includes the use of materials i.e. hair padding, pins etc are included.
  2. Bridal hair by the creative hair designer at Chatel Noire will also provide the service for up to 5 bridesmaids / or mother s of the day. Any additional persons will be charged accordingly.
  3. Bespoke hair extensions are available at an additional cost but will be discussed in detail at the hair consultation.

 

MAKEUP ARTIST – Adiva Forever

  1. The Bride will receive a mini make up consultation prior to the wedding, along with the chosen make-up design service on the day of the wedding, this includes the use of make-up products and application.
  2. The Makeup artiste can provide the service for bridesmaids and additional persons; however, charges will apply in some cases.
  3. If airbrush makeup base is required, or cluster lashes, additional fees will be charged.
  4. The makeup consultation and chosen wedding date will be subject to availability of the makeup artiste.
  5. The consultation will be held in London.
  6. Travel for the make-up artist to the wedding venue is included within the London area

 

STATIONERY – Lucy McSpirit Design and Stationery

  1. The winning couple will receive 50 A6 Save the Dates and 7X5 Invitations Including 50 A6 RSVP printed on a luxury textured card with a choice of a wax seal.
  2. A1 sized personalised welcome sign, along with personalised place/names will be charged for at a price to be agreed with the stationary company.
  3. Additional products can be requested; however, additional costs would apply.

 

CAKE – Tees Bakery Cake Company

  1. The winning couple will receive a wedding cake – tier to be determined; this includes the delivery and set up of the cake at the venue and will be enough for the guests.
  2. Any flowers requested for decor will be provided by the Decor company and will be included within the purchase of the
  3. The winning couple will have the option to add icing and additional tiers at a cost to

 

GROOMSWEAR –Formalwear

  1. The winning couple will receive the hire of 4 suits; for example, the Groom, best man, father of the Bride and father of the Any additional members in the party will be charged at our normal fee per person.
  2. The suits must be picked up and returned to the hiring company within the specified and agreed timescale.
  3. A security deposit is requested per suit to be hired on the collection and will be refunded on safe return on once the suits are returned and inspected, this is to cover any damages. Dry cleaning is covered by the Hire company.
  4. If a same-sex couple wins the competition, the 4 suits remain available and may be supplied according.

 

DJ & ENTERTAINMENT –

  1. The winning couple will receive the hire of Good Works Entertainment – DJ Service and an additional Room Up-Lighting
  2. Set up of all sound and lighting equipment prior to the start of the reception
  3. Professional DJ equipment and sound system to suit the venue
  4. DJ to play background music during the arrival of evening guests before the first dance and performing up until the end of the wedding or as arranged (where the license of the venue permits)
  5. The look of our DJ set-up selected to your Including our signature staging and DJ setup.
  6. Up-Lighting Package includes 12x wireless unit set to your desired colour for the evening celebration if this is required in the venue – This can be discussed with the event decor company.
  7. Full terms and conditions of booking our service available on request
  8. Rental agreement to secure services for winning couple will be required to be paid as a security of the items on loan.

 

BRIDAL DRESS – Gillian Roberts Bridal

  1. The winning couple will receive a wedding dress to the value agreed by the wedding dress company.
  2. If a more expensive dress is selected, the additional value of that dress must be paid for by the winning bride.
  3. A bridal consultation/fitting is included in this promotion.
  4. If a second bridal dress is required, any additional dress would be subject to full payment.

 

BRIDAL ACCESSORIES – Gillian Roberts GB Accessories

  1. The winning couple will receive a piece or pieces from GR Bridal Accessories for their Tiara or headpiece.

bespoke headpiece and earrings up to the value to be agreed by GR Bridal for the bride and additional for bridesmaid(s). Products to the total amount agreed is redeemable.

  1. A bridal consultation will be included within the prize
  2. No refunds/exchanges will be available after the item(s) have been designed/collected.
  3. Additional products are available for purchase at their usual cost.

 

BRIDAL VEIL –

  1. The winning couple will receive a handmade designer veil from Susan Pang Collection, up to the value to be agreed which includes the post & delivery
  2. A personalised embroidered design can be discussed and included on the veil. Any bespoke embroidery may be added at an additional discounted cost to usual charges which will be quoted following a telephone/email/video
  3. No refunds will be available after any additional payments are made towards a bespoke design.
  4. No refunds/exchanges will be available after the item(s) have been designed/collected.
  5. Additional products are available for purchase at their usual cost.

 

BRIDESMAID DRESSES –

  1. The winning couple will receive up to 5 bridesmaids dresses with the choice of any colour from the range
  2. The dresses can be made for any age or size including custom lengths
  3. Final measurements must be received no later than 6 weeks prior to the wedding
  4. This includes an initial consultation/fitting

 

MUSICIAN – 

  1. The winning couple will receive a performance during the course of their wedding. The winning couple can discuss when they would like these to take place with the performer.
  2. The couple will receive their music of bespoke musical performances of your favourite songs during one section of the day, out of the following options:
    • Ceremony – includes 30mins as guests arrive, procession, signing of registers and recession;
    • Drinks Reception – after the ceremony, includes live song requests taken from your guests (any song played on the spot);
    • Wedding Breakfast – during the meal, again will take any song requests from your guests and play them on the

WEDDING FAVORS –

  1. The winning couple will receive their wedding favours
  2. This will be fully discussed at a later stage.

 

CHAUFFER – Phantom Chauffeur Services

  1. The winning couple will receive 3 hours of travel within the London borders, at any point throughout the day of their wedding. The 3 hours can be used by the winning couple or their guests, however, they choose or deem
  2. Any additional miles over the 3 hours will be charged the standard mileage

 

OCCASIONWEAR –

  1. 25% off any mother of the bride and mother of the groom outfits from the full prices range. This is an optional offer available to the winning couple.

 

WEDDING SERVICE – Ace Crystal Clear Services and Staffing Solutions

  1. This company are willing to offer the services of bar staff, after event cleaning staff, vendor support, kitchen porter to the choice of the wedding planner and the couple to the value of £500.

 

WEDDING FLOWERS/ FLORALS – Florals by  Funmi 

  1. 1 x Brides Bouquet Bridesmaids bouquets (up to 6) Buttonholes (up to 6) 1 X Gift Bouquet
  2. Any other florals will be chargeable, and this can be discussed with Funmi at the time.

 

PHOTOBOOTH – Eventful Photobooths

 

BRIDAL KIT – 

  1. The winning couple will receive a personalised bridal gift set, up to the value of a price to be determined
  2. The colour, font, wording can be chosen by the bride.
  3. All orders must be placed no later than 6 weeks prior to the wedding
  4. A consultation can be arranged if required.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION EXCLUSIVITY

  1. It is understood that The Wedding Collective will act as the sole and exclusive suppliers for your wedding with regards to their individual service. By signing this contract, the winning couple agrees that no other person, company, professional or otherwise, shall provide products or services for the wedding without the consent of The Wedding Collective organiser.
  2. This clause is to protect the image of the above suppliers from assumptions that might occur from the event’s

 

LIABILITY

  1. None of The Wedding Collective will be held responsible for injury, loss or damage to persons or property howsoever caused arising from any goods under hire or services provided.
  2. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to or will exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by The Wedding Collective’s
  3. All suppliers of The Wedding Collective hold their own insurance, individual and specified to their If you wish to discuss any specific concerns, please speak to the individual supplier to see a copy of their insurance policy.

 

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES (FORCE MAJEURE) & CANCELLATION

  1. Whilst all suppliers will make every effort to ensure that the service agreed between the above-named suppliers and the winning couple is fully operational and error-free, we cannot guarantee this. Acts of God, events beyond our reasonable control, sudden ill health and adverse weather conditions may affect our ability to deliver the product or service. However, in cases of adverse weather, we will remain in contact with the event commissioner in the lead up to the event and, if the event is out of season, we will discuss a contingency plan with the event Ultimately, we can accept no responsibility for Acts of God (Force majeure) sudden ill health, adverse weather conditions or any event beyond our reasonable control. And/if any of The Wedding Collective is prevented from providing the service or product as agreed then they cannot be held accountable, however, agree to do all possible to find a replacement.
  2. If a supplier has a booked paying customer – they may not be available for the wedding. This will be covered as much as possible and we will try to plan for this not to happen. An example could be for the wedding car.
  3. If COVID19 is still present, and the Government says we are not able to carry out our work for any reason, we will not be able to comply with any of our desired work for this wedding, and the wedding will have to be postponed until we are given clearance. The alternative date will be depending on the availability of the teams,  the couple and their family.
  4. If an event is due to be held outside, but a sudden change in weather prevent this from occurring or do not allow a named supplier to provide the set up agreed in service, then the service may have to be moved inside if applicable, no action can be taken against the suppliers in this case.
  5. A force majeure event includes any act, event, non-occurrence, omission or accident beyond our reasonable control and includes, in particular (without limitation), the following:
  • strikes, lockouts or other industrial action;
  • civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war; or
  • fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, pandemic or other natural disasters; or such as COVID19 or the worldwide Pandemic
  • impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; or
  • impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunications
  • If the Corona Virus is still prevalent in the UK and we are still unable to hold mass gatherings.
  • Our obligations under these Terms will be suspended when the event occurs and for the period that the Force Majeure Event continues, and we will notify you as soon as is reasonably Any time limits that we are bound by will be extended accordingly. We will inform you when that event is over and extend the time to perform these obligations for the duration of that period. We will take reasonable steps to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which our obligations under these Terms can be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.
  1. If the winning couple decides to cancel the wedding then any fees already paid by The Wedding Collective for the cost of products etc, may be collected by suppliers, to ensure that no supplier(s) suffer any loss of funds for payments they have paid on behalf of the couple.
  2. In the event that the government takes steps to restrict the movement or assembly of people due to any communicable illness, infection or other condition of any kind, our first priority must be public health and safety. Therefore, The Wedding Collective will not be able to attend your event, if to do so would put us in violation of government-issued advice or orders which could invalidate the insurance In the event of a postponement of the wedding (only due to restrictions issued by the government) The Wedding Collective will endeavour to change your date of booking where possible to your alternative date. An alternative date cannot be guaranteed and where this cannot be achieved where reasonable steps have been undertaken, the suppliers unable to provide services are indemnified from any claims and all financial responsibility arising for the further cost incurred as a result.
  3. If any of the party of this agreement is advised or instructed to self-isolate due to any communicable illness, infection or other condition of any kind then the above conditions then the event will need to be postponed.
  4. It is the responsibility of the winning couple to inform The Wedding Collective Organiser if any party of this agreement and/or guest at their event has been informed to self-isolate so appropriate consideration can be taken on how to proceed.
  5. A list of all attendees will be collected and saved for a period of time in case we need to contact trace.
  6. Any supplier involved reserves the right to withdraw services up to the point of confirmation by the signing of a contract with that The terms above apply to the competition entry only and any further conditions, specific to the supplier, must be met before their services and inclusion in the event are confirmed. That contract will be binding on both parties as per the conditions of that contract.
  7. The Wedding Collective reserve the right to extend or modify the closing date at our discretion or modify the terms as appropriate at any time as other vendors offer services or circumstances

 

PRIVACY

  1. Please refer to the privacy policy on the website designerweddingplanner.com
  2. Our entry form is managed via the Mailchimp system and is fully GDPR compliant, during the entry period a limited number of people will have access to your personal details. However, all suppliers will see all entries when/if shortlisting of entries is performed
  3. Upon entry to the competition you opt-in to enter the competition and you also have the option to opt-in to marketing from all named suppliers (The Wedding Collective). Your personal details will not be shared with anyone outside of The Wedding Collective.
  4. If you opted in, your details may be used by The Wedding Collective for marketing purposes once the competition has closed, you may opt-out of this at any time.
  5. All personal information that we may use will be collected, processed and held in accordance with the provisions of EU Regulation 2016/679 General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and your rights under the Act.

 

CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

We may from time to time change these Terms and Conditions without giving you notice but we will use our reasonable endeavours to inform you as soon as is reasonably possible of any such change.

 

SEVERANCE

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part the validity of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby.

 

LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and Conditions, the Contract and the relationship between you and The Wedding Collective whether contractual or otherwise shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales. Any dispute, controversy or claim shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

  • The winner agrees to the use of their name & photographs relating to any post-winning publicity, for any format for promotional and/or editorial purposes, without additional consultation
  • 150 maximum guests. Should a guest win that they have more than 150 guests, the couple will pay the difference to all vendors
    • Subject to social distancing rules, winners’ venue must accommodate said maximum guest numbers, taking into account enough space for social distancing
  • Off-peak season weddings only (December 2020 – March 2021 / October – December 2021)

To claim the full wedding package win, your chosen venue ideally should be dry hire so we can create a wonderful scene for you.
