QVC Autumn Winter Collection-2011

flowers in rose bowl

On Tuesday 24th May we were lucky enough to be invited to Press Day at the wonderful QVC – the television sales people. We were asked to meet at a lovely venue in the heart London. With the warm welcome and coffee and juice waiting, we were shown in to the downstairs area were the room was packed full of all types of make-up by known and not so well-known new designers. Famous and not so famous faces adorned the walls of this set as anyone who is anyone has sold their product on QVC. It is well-known that this medium is a sure-fire way of ensuring grossing sales of phenomenon amounts.

I didn’t even know that QVC had expanded their repertoire so much over the years. There were ‘treats’ everywhere.

I must mention the lovely staff with the ladies and gentlemen hosting the day so informed and knowledgeable about the extensive brands which they sell via the television network.

There was 10 minutes to spend with a masseuse who had the gentle touch of an angel. There was also a person taking care of our manicure – with the new colours for this season we simply couldn’t say no.

bella pierre cosmetics

Bella Peirre Eye Shadow with 9 colours simply really is all you need in your make up drawer.

It has 9 delicious bang up to date colours and the brushes are simply the softest I have ever used. and with the ‘setter’ it is a complete unit.

The household items were so unusual, but delightful. Colour block has moved into the kitchen – There were even knives with colourful blades which you could match to your kitchen colour

colourful pots and pans

candlesThere were candles of all shapes and sizes with wonderful smells – designers have spent time in honing in their designs and creating wonderful candles which fit in wherever you have an idea to put them.

There was a very cute chopping board which laid down flat in order that you do your chopping and surprisingly, it then curves in at the sides to ensure that when you need to pour the chopped foods into the saucepan it slips down without all falling out at the sides. wonderful!

Next we spent time looking at the new style s and fashions.

shoes

Lots to see and choose from – lovely cocktail dresses to bags and shoes in abundance. There were different styles to suit everyone from short dresses to more formal evening wear.

We had fun choosing what we felt would be the top seller.

The day was topped off with lovely hors dors and yet more wine and nibbles and we left with our minds full of the joys of the day and the promise to tune in to QVC for our next purchase.
