Weddings are a joyous and wonderful occasion and are usually celebrated with great grandeur and style. However, the idea of grandeur and style is taken to the next level by those who know how to do it in style and can of course throw in the cash for it. This is exactly where celebrity weddings come in and they still hold the title for conducting some of the most expensive weddings around the world that leave millions speechless.

The guests were segregated for quite a few days between an expensive yacht and a five-star hotel. They tied the knot in a 17th-century Villa with a reception held at the medieval abbey.
The bill includes close to £1million on pre-wedding celebrations, £400,000 to book Coleen’s favourite band, Westlife, and £200,000 on her dress.
She has even spent £85,000 on trips to New York for dress fittings.
Five private jets will fly the 65 guests from the UK to the four-day celebrations, which include a lunch aboard a luxury yacht, a masked ball and champagne breakfast every morning.
The main ceremony took place on June 14 at Villa Durazzo, part of the stunning 16th Century Castello Brown, which boasts panoramic views over the Italian Riviera; while the reception will be held in La Cervara, a 700-year-old former abbey.
The time and place were being kept under tight wraps as they didn’t want the paparazzi to be in attendance.
Coleen’s local priest from Croxteth in Liverpool was also flown out to officiate over the ceremony

Of course we all know Prince William and Kate Middleton tying the knot and a bill that cost than $34 million. Just like his parents, the wedding of Prince William was no less than a fairytale affair.
The wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine Middleton took place on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London. The groom, Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, is the eldest son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales, and second, after his father, in line to succeed his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
The wedding was said to be one of the most expensive in British history —
Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s April 29 wedding was nothing short of magnificent and full of the usual British pomp and ceremony.

With each new millionaire or the next billionaire, they will always be the very expensive wedding or party to plan for and we envy the wedding and event planner as it will be a case of money no object – however it will be a very stressful time for them as they ensure all goes well with all that money sent on the budget.
